Jupiter Medical Center is also proud to be designated a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures by the Joint Commission, the independent organization that accredits and certifies health care providers across the United States.
Core measures describe the care that should be provided to patients in the hospital, based on research and national standards. For example, was aspirin prescribed at arrival and discharge for patients with a heart attack? Were antibiotics administered within one hour prior to surgical incision and discontinued within 48 hours after the end of surgery?

The Anderson Family Orthopedic & Spine Center of Excellence at Jupiter Medical Center is accredited by the Joint Commission for Total Joint Replacement for Hips, Knees and Shoulders. Our program is also recognized by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services as being in the top 2.2% of hospitals in the nation for quality outcomes related to elective hip and knee procedures.
The Foshay Cancer Center at Jupiter Medical Center is accredited, with commendation, by the Commission on Cancer as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Program. Only 25 percent of cancer programs in the United States hold this accreditation that ensures we meet or exceed quality standards established by the Commission on Cancer.
