A member of our team will meet and escort you and your companion(s) upon arrival at the hospital to assist in your admission or any required outpatient services. Lynn Stockford, RN, BSN
Director of Global Medicine
Lynn oversees all aspects of the Global Medicine Program. She was part of the team that developed the vision for the program and has been involved from the beginning. With her nursing background she is key to reviewing each patient’s history and helping the patient, family and referring physician determine what the patient needs are and to determine the best clinical match. She is a board certified Holistic Nurse and believes that patient care should be for the whole person, mind body and spirit. She lends her belief that promoting health and wellness is key to promoting healing to the Global Medicine Program.
Marina S. Ratchford
Global Medicine Coordinator
Marina is responsible for navigating Global Medicine patients and participating in the development and growth of the program at Jupiter Medical Center. She establishes and nurtures relationships with physicians and nurses to participate in the Global Medicine program and ensures a seamless program for evaluations and procedures to be followed for each international patient. Marina ensures that the Global Medicine program follows protocols to provide a high level of customer service to JMC Global Medicine patients.
Marina has over 15 years of experience working internationally with governmental and non-profit organizations. She has extensive experience working in the Latin America and Caribbean region, through the implementation of initiatives in health, policy, science, education, research and capacity building. A native of Argentina, Marina’s skills include multicultural sensitivity as well as complete fluency in English and Spanish, and working knowledge of Portuguese.
Shelly Weiss Lahn
Manager, Concierge & Patient Advocate Services
Mindy manages the day-to day-functions of the Patient Advocate and Concierge Departments which includes two patient advocate/concierge coordinators to ensure a personalized and exceptional customer service experience for patients and their families. Because traveling far from home to receive medical care can be complex and stressful, Jupiter Medical Center’s Patient Advocates and Concierge Coordinators provide complimentary services to you and your family before, during and after your stay. The department also serves as the entry point into the Medical Center for inpatient services as well as a family resource for providing global medicine patients with all travel logistics including, but not limited to, local accommodations, transportation, family entertainment, shopping, dining, places of worship, and visa requirements just to name a few.

Our team’s goal is to provide customized service and personal attention in order to meet the needs of all patients and their families upon their arrival and throughout their inpatient stay through proactive room visits. We can assist with any hospital matter including, but not limited to, facilitating interpretation services, patient care conferences, pastoral care, and any inpatient wellness services (i.e. salon, massage) and provide information on your rights as a patient. Lucy is bi-linqual Spanish and available, upon request, for any non-medical interpretation services.
